News and Announcements:
- Welcome to Chemistry 353. Please be sure to
attend class on the first day of the quarter. Also, please be sure to
attend on Friday, March 31. At that time, you will hear information
about the structure and requirements of the course.
- The final examination in this course will consist of
the Standardized Test in Organic Chemistry, published by the Examinations
Institute of the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical
Society. This is a test with national norms that is administered to
students across the United States. You will receive more details about
this examination and how to prepare for it as the quarter progresses.
- Attention Pre-Meds! There is now a Pre-Med
Club web site. Here is the link:

ACS Tutoring
- The Student Affiliates of the American Chemical
Society offer free tutoring in Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry on
Tuesday evenings: Tues 7-8:30 pm CB 200 (across from the computer
lab).
Availability of Chemistry Software Programs
- Chemistry Computer Lab CB 280 (8am-5pm)
- Engineering Technology ET 321 (24 hours)
- Science Education SL 240 (8am-5pm)
Go into the
Resource Center, identify your course and purpose,
and ask to be let into
the computer lab.
If the room is not in use by a class you will be
admitted.
