LABORATORY EXPERIMENT Schedule
Welcome to Chemistry 455 for Winter Quarter 2006. Please watch this space for announcements regarding this course. Other items of interest will also be posted from time to time, as appropriate. (notice posted on December 12, 2005)
The first class meeting of the quarter will be on Thursday, January 5 at 11:00 AM. We will meet in Chemistry Building 485. The agenda for this first day will be an introduction to the course, a review of safety policies and check-in instructions, and an introduction to Fourier transforms. (notice posted on December 19, 2005)
Special Notice: In order to be enrolled in this course, each student will be required to take and pass a laboratory safety quiz. This quiz is an on-line quiz, consisting of 25 multiple choice questions. It is your responsibility to take and pass the safety quiz on your own time, during its scheduled hours. The absolute deadline for completion of this requirement is Thursday, January 12 at NOON. If you cannot successfully pass the quiz, you will fail or be dropped from this course!
