We encourage everyone to congratulate Spencer when you next see him.
Dr. Spencer Anthony-Cahill
Spencer is a Biochemist who is working in the area of protein structure and function.
The Spencer Group is making and characterizing permuted myoglobins in their long-term quest to make
a single-chain hemoglobin molecule. His research students all speak very highly of him and his wife Yvonne's
cooking! On top of research and his regular teaching duties, Spencer has taken on the task of developing
a new Honors General Chemistry course this year. The department would also like to thank Spencer for all his efforts
in this endeavor and we expect that it will turn out to be a great success that we will celebrate for years to come.
