Department Receives 2003 Beckman Scholar Award

The departments of chemistry and biology were recently selected by the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation to receive a 2003 Beckman Scholar Award. Western Washington University was one of thirteen institutions nation-wide chosen for this prestigious award. It will provide funding over a three-year period for five undergraduate research students working in the biological or chemical sciences. Announcements will be made in March regarding the eligibility requirements and application process for students wishing to apply.
